Kentucky Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeons, a
division of Ortho Kentucky, PLLC, first opened
its doors in 1981 with two orthopaedic surgeons
and a handful of dedicated support
staff. Since its inception, we have grown into
a group of board certified physicians who
provide general orthopaedic care and physiatry
care as well as subspecialty care of the hand,
foot and ankle, sports injuries and orthopaedic
trauma. Our physicians are skilled in both
surgical and nonsurgical methods of treatment
of all problems of the musculoskeletal system.
This includes everything from fractures to
congenital disorders, upper extremity problems,
arthritis, foot and ankle problems, sports
related injuries and total joint replacement.
Our doctors are recipients of multiple awards
including Best Doctors of America. They
have published articles in national journals on
subjects such as biomechanics, tumors, foot
and ankle care and joint revision.
In addition to our surgeons, we have a board
certified physiatrist and a licensed physician
assistant. The physiatrist manages neuromusculosketetal
conditions in a nonsurgical
manner. Electromyography (EMG) can also
be performed to help diagnose nerve disorders.
Our physician assistant is trained in
managing the care and treatment of orthopaedic
problems and works in conjunction
with our doctors to deliver our orthopaedic
care.
Our goal is and always has been to provide
the most up to date standard of orthopaedic
care to our patients, and we enjoy an excellent
reputation in both the medical and lay
communities
